FAQs Do you only paint motorcycles? We can paint anything that paint will stick to. How much is a paint job? Every paint job is individual, so every job has to be quoted individually. If you email us a picture of your bike/car etc with a description of what needs doing, we can email you back with a fairly accurate quote. Final quotes are decided when the work is in front of us, but it rarely differs much from the estimated quote. How do I get the parts to you? Pack up your items well in bubble wrap and send it to us either via recorded post or courier. We will return your items to you in the same manner. Also if you live locally you can drop them off in person. How much does postage cost? Postage costs may vary, depending upon the size and weight of the package and whether you send it by post or courier. What kind of paint do you use? House of Kolor, Auto Air Colors and Lechler. These provide us with quality finishes that we can guarantee. We also use top products for filling, priming, and laquering. How long will it take you to paint the designs? Upon receiving your items, it can take up to 4 weeks, occasionally longer to complete very detailed artwork. The less complicated the artwork, the quicker turn around time. A reasonably straight forward paint job can be done in as little as a week. What if I have my own design? We encourage you to participate in in the designing your paint job. If you can give us an idea of what you want, we can advise how we think it will look best and how it will best fit your bike. Do you do body work, fiberglass and plastic repair? Yes we do. Usually on a bike/part re-paint, body work is no extra charge as long as its minor, as in scratches and stone chips. There will only be an additional charge for major dents or damage. We don't expect it to come in perfect. What is the average number of laquer coats I get? Usually, it's 8, 4 after the base coat and 4 after the artwork. It is then polished to a glass finish. How should I make payments? Payment in full is required when work is completed. You can pay by cash, cheque or by paypal if you are posting your items.
